UKUPC is all about collaboration - the eight UK consortia have teamed up to conduct our procurement activities with the goal of achieving financial and operational efficiencies, as well as sharing best practice. By working together to harness the power of group purchasing, we are able to save time and money whilst also increasing ours teams’ skills and capabilities which in turn benefits our members. By integrating the efforts of our expert teams, we can provide savings, efficiencies and a better service for all of the UKUPC community.
The UKUPC Board
The Board’s vision is to leverage the benefits of collaborative procurement: working across the UK HE Consortia community to enhance procurement within HE and across our other members; helping deliver savings and efficiencies; maximising member benefits; embedding responsible/ethical procurement and social value using a sustainable supply chain management approach.
APUC
Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges (APUC) is the procurement centre of expertise for Scotland's universities and colleges. APUC seeks to maximise the value of Scotland’s investment in further and higher education by working in partnership with institutions to support and enable sustainable innovation in procurement and shared service optimisation.

Higher Education Purchasing Consortium Wales (HEPCW) is a purchasing consortium supported and funded by Welsh Higher Education institutions. Our purpose is ‘Supporting Higher Education Institutions in Wales in achieving value for money for stakeholders through the adoption of a strategic approach to collaborative procurement’. We are energy experts and procurement professionals.
