UKUPC Strategy

UK Universities Procurement Consortia (UKUPC) has launched its new Strategy for 2026-2029, setting out how collaborative procurement will continue to support higher education and the wider public procurement sector over the next three years.

Developed with input from consortia, members, and framework suppliers, the strategy builds on UKUPC's commitment to delivering value through collaboration, helping institutions navigate a challenging operating environment while strengthening resilience, sustainability and long-term performance.

The strategy focuses on four priority areas:

• Strategic procurement – enhancing frameworks, supplier relationships and value-added services
• Digital enablement – improving access to data, analytics and reporting tools
• Responsible procurement – advancing social value, sustainability and ethical supply chains
• Communications and training – building capability, engagement and awareness across the sector.

These priorities will shape the development of UKUPC's frameworks, services, partnerships and member support activities over the coming years.
